These two prominent ladies traveled all the way from the amber mining area, Northern part of Myanmar, with other pilgrims to see Pope Francis. According to them, if given an opportunity, they wanted to give holy rosaries made of exceptional quality natural amber to the Holy Father and to Cardinal Charles Bo. They said they could have booked in the hotel but they chose to be with other pilgrims to see the Pope and receive his blessings.
Other special gifts for Pope Francis was made by Kachin people who are gathered in St Antonie Church to wait for the coming of the Pope and hoping to give some special presents such as rosary and folded fans.
